Today was Pi Day . . . pi=3.1415...

I happened to be at the store this afternoon and enjoyed meeting some of the Northwest Paper Chasers. A group of 5 Chasers from the Kitsap Peninsula, considered the 'lucky' group, came up lucky again . . . sort of. They all sat at the back table to see if any of their puzzle pieces fit together. Two of the ladies had 2 puzzle pieces that fit together . . . I was so excited for them that they each earned a 6x6 paper pad from Authentique! And, at their suggestion, I will bring a photo of the Marble Puzzle and the finished Take 'n Make to the store instead of only viewing it online.

Jeanne` Broxton from Poulsbo, WA

Sheri Burger from Port Orchard, WA
Why do they call themselves the lucky group? Last year, every one of them won a prize from the 2014 Northwest Paper Chase after it was all over.

Memory Box has a new "Look Book" showing beautiful sample cards using their new dies. It's really worth taking the time to look through it. Of course, you may be tempted to jot down a few Memory Box dies that you'll want to add to your treasured stash!

The Memory Box papers that were ordered should be here soon; they contacted me a few days back to say the order was ready to ship. This order will bring a new supply of their colored patterned paper; I asked about the solid color papers and they replied that they are not offering those any longer.

From the Magenta blog, these are two postings that I really really like. I love the colors and the textures.

Carole used mostly Gesso to create the terrific dimensional layering you see; click on this link to go to her blog posting:

And then Josee` Gingras made this beautiful canvas art using Magenta stamps and templates . . .

On Dianne's blog, which was also part of Art 'n Soul's weekly email, she shared the technique taught by Lisa Lee with Inchie Arts. Dianne used the new black Art Squares from Inchie Arts and the result is stunning!

From the Dina Wakley blog, this is a very quick post by her showing one of her new stamps introduced by Ranger at CHA this year. I really L-O-V-E this tag! That silhouette stamp is a future "must" for my stamp stash.

St. Patrick's Day decor is becoming more popular these days; I notice lots of displays at the stores that I've not noticed before. Here's a great decor piece from Heike Lennik for IMAGINE Crafts using their new StazOn Studio Glaze™ and Amplify!™ on canvas.

I know I said that I would post pics tonight of the new Graphic 45 paper collections that were taken to the store today. But, I haven't even taken the pics yet and I must retire for the day. I'll take photos now and then I'll edit them tomorrow for the posting.

See you back here!
