And while you're at Art 'n Soul this weekend, please take the time to look at the class boards for 3 amazing classes later this month, as well as the new papers. The classes are filling up very quickly!
These are the new core'dinations papers taken to Art 'n Soul earlier this week from Darice, and some of their new basic card stock.
4x6-inch "chalk" paper pak of 40 with either a white core or colored core (5 colors); great for embossing and light sanding! |
6x6-inch Tim Holtz Rustic Colors with Natural Kraft core on 80 lb. card stock 48-sheet pad |
6x6-inch Tim Holtz shattered-design colored 80 lb. card stock with a Natural Kraft core 48-sheet pad -- 24 colors |
A2 Size Tim Holtz Distress colored card stock with natural kraft core -- 72-sheet pad made for cutting, embossing and distressing |
core'dinations heavyweight 110 lb. White card stock with smooth texture in 6x6 paper pak of 40 sheets |
core'dinations heavyweight 110 lb. White card stock with smooth texture in 8.5" x 11" paper pak of 15 sheets |
This 110 lb. card stock was tested with alcohol markers at the CHA show and I felt that the colors did not break through to the backside of the card stock as much as it does on other card stock, including the blending card stock. However, the longer you keep the nib in one spot, the more chance the color will bleed through. We also tried it with the new Chameleon markers and I liked the results.
These are the 12x12 flocked swiss dot pattern card stock from core'dinations, one of which I made a card with shown on my last blog posting.
It was necessary to break up this posting in order to 'publish' it, so please scroll down for the "rest of the story".
