Art 'n Soul took the day off yesterday in honor of the Seattle Seahawks attempting to repeat their Super Bowl win. Alas, it didn't work out as we all had hoped, but I think their play was awesome. I don't think they were outplayed; I think they were confronted with a once-in-a-lifetime interception catch at the very end that no one could have imagined would happen. They're already motivated for next season, and so am I! I did express my apologies on Facebook for turning the television on and watching the game . . . I just couldn't sit it out. Ouch!

We're open for business, as usual, today (Monday) at 10 a.m. Pam will be there to welcome you and return your attention to the art of paper crafting and fine art rubber stamping.

On Saturday, I took lots of new paper to the store . . . the remainder of Graphic 45's Time to Flourish months for the year, and the new papers from Ken Oliver Crafts which I am really excited about.

The Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper Collection is two-sided. One side is the brilliant color design; the reverse side is a wash of that design. So you'll enjoy the brilliant or subtle designs.

The Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection continues to be gorgeous, month in and month out. We now have all 12 months at Art 'n Soul!

Magenta's February challenge is on! Check out the details to find out how you might participate. All of the Design Team members offered up their challenge, and Dianne's card is on display at Art 'n Soul.

Dianne used one Magenta stamp for the "flower", along with part of a sentiment stamp.

Here's a sample card top from Magenta. They used just a part of one stamp, fussy-cut it and mounted it to the card top designed from a background stamp. You can see this sample at the store.

I'll leave you with this photo of an 'adopted' niece's dachshund. Lucy was all dressed for today's game! It's the hat that kills me!

See you back here soon!
