“CREATIVE HOLIDAY CARDS” – Marj - $32
Come join the fun on Veteran’s day (state holiday) enjoy your day off, and come join Marj in making four cards (and maybe one or two bonus cards) using a variety of interesting techniques and products. The cards are suitable for both beginning stampers as well as those with more experience. You will learn some techniques with watercolor, die cuts, embossing folders and washi tape.
Sign up early, as class is limited to 10 students, and no repeat class this time!
Please bring your basic kit, small trimmer, and if you like to use your own die
cut machine, you may bring it. This helps reduce wait time for the machines,
but it is not required to bring it.
On Dianne's blog today, she showed the finished card she made from the Dreamweaver Stencil class on Monday. When we showed the work-in-progress, she had sten-zangled the center leaf but had not finished the two outer leaves.

I love the sepia-colored Micron pen Dianne used on the outer leaves.
I hope you'll take a look at these beautiful cards from Jenny Griffiths using the new pinecone frame die from Memory Box.

From the Spanish Memory Box blog, Bibliana has created a very nice fall card using the several Memory Box dies. I love the richness of the fall colors. When you go to Bibliana's blog, there is an option box to use "English" and it's located to the right of the first photo.

Pam Simpson has made a beautiful Christmas card using double-sided adhesive sheets and glitter with the PoppyStamps' ornament base die and overlay die. Using the transparent double-sided adhesive and Silk Glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs that we have available now at Art 'n Soul will give the results you want when making a similar card.

When I lived in Lacey, each day I adored the little squirrels that would enjoy the jar of peanuts in the shell that was located in front of the house within good viewing range from my office. If the jar was empty, they would sit on the jar and face the office window staring at me. I really miss them!
So I was delighted to see Dina Kowal's card she designed for Impression Obsession. I had seen the squirrel die before but couldn't think how I could use it . . . now, I know! It's a good thing that Impression Obsession is one of the 'open catalog' companies at Art 'n Soul right now.

This is all I have for tonight. I am waiting for some additional information from the Christmas Party so more of the beautiful cards and projects may be posted on the blog. See you tomorrow!
