A quick "masculine" birthday card was needed this weekend. And this was indeed a quickie! I couldn't fussy it up too much because he's just not the type for any kind of fluff.

Sharon Wolvin shared some of her recent creativity with card making. It's always fun to see what Sharon has been doing in her 'spare' time. She's obviously been having fun with a watercolor technique, some embossing and playing with the Dreamweaver stacked cups die. Sharon, we wanna come and play with you!

These are the cards we made in Saturday's Hasty Lace class. I have decided the Hasty Lace art is perfect for traveling because it's so portable and doesn't require lots and lots of supplies. It's very relaxing and when it's all revealed at the end, you're amazed!

More papers from Memory Box arrived today; unfortunately, the licorice dots pattern was backordered. I have a message into them to find out when it will be available because a customer requested that specific paper. These 8-1/2"x11" card stock papers are nice for your card base because the reverse side is plain white.

I had hoped to have these down to the store tomorrow morning but I don't think that will happen (see below). So it may be afternoon before I'm able to bring them to the store.

Okay, sorry this is so brief tonight but I'm done. Our kitchen sink stopped up for some unknown reason and it was discovered about 2 hours after the cleaning lady left, of course. My dear sweet husband had to take the plumbing apart and had water all over the place when the sink drained unexpectedly onto him. So, I finished preparing dinner and will 'attack' the leftover cleanup in the morning. After all, it's a Monday!
