If you don't know about the new Elizabeth Craft Designs' blog, here it is! In the first link, it will take you to the new blog site and today's posting which includes a u-tube instructional video by Els. The photo shows all of the supplies she uses.

Be sure to click on the "black" screen to start the instructional video. Many of you are quite familiar or are experienced in coloring the clear Glitter Silk; however, it is still a great video to view -- I appreciated the reminder of a few of the techniques, especially laying the peel-off onto the adhesive release sheet.

This next link shows how Els made this beautiful card using the new Elizabeth Craft Designs' Shimmer Sheetz color . . . Australian Opal.

We're excited that Els will be at Art 'n Soul on Saturday, June 14, to teach two classes. She is sending pics of the cards for each class and I'll post those as soon as I have them. Hopefully we'll have the exact details for the classes as well.

It's that time of year! Announcing our 2014 Graphic 45 Design Team Call! What are the benefits of joining this exciting team?
What are we looking for?

Graphic 45 paper and products are unique and vintage inspired, so we are looking for a variety of team members that can produce high quality cards, layouts, altered art, DIY items, videos, and home decor projects that show off our papers and embellishments.

Our team is education-based, so we will need you to have good photography skills, the ability to create tutorials with instructions and size images for blog and website use.

This call is open to international and domestic applicants.

How do I apply to be on the team?

Our design team search will consist of two rounds. Please read the entire contents of both rounds as there is quite a bit of information.
We cannot wait to see your submissions, G45ers! It's such a wonderful time of year. Most of all, have fun!

Get your creative engines going tomorrow at Art 'n Soul. It's Play Day and we're playing with the We R Memory Keepers' Envelope Punch Board. All day!
It's free to join in. If you really want to play, please bring your envelope punch board if you have one; if you don't, we do have a few still available for purchase at the store. You'll also want to bring a supply of paper, a paper trimmer if you have one, basic kit to include a bone folder, adhesive (Scor Tape is recommended), and something to take notes with if you want to write down all of the neat tips and techniques that you're going to learn about.
  • Marj is going to show lots of ides, including a small pie box or cookie box;
  • Sharon is going to share lots of ideas she's had fun with, including envelope liners and bows;
  • Dianne is going to show how to make a cute box for card sets and the candy bar boxes designed by Marj;
  • Sue Moffat may be there to share how she made a cute little box that is the perfect size for a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
The store opens at 10:00 a.m. and Marj plans to be there from about 10:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. We haven't had such an exciting day planned like this for quite a while . . . we're looking forward to seeing all of you there!
