Art 'n Soul's newest Artist of the Month is Patti Ritterhouse.
"Patti started her love for rubber stamping about 12 years ago after the death of her mother. Her sister Judy, who lives in California, had just attended a craft convention and discovered EMBOSSING POWDER! When they got together at Thanksgiving, Judy shared with Patti the wonders of EMBOSSING POWDER. Patti was hooked and soon discovered a wonderful store in Lacey that is now Art 'n Soul.
She started taking classes with two amazing teachers, Marj Marion and Gwen Evans. Patti soon drew in a circle of friends to join in her fun. For the last 10 years, they have produced hundreds of cards, tags, and gift bags to sell at Patti's work (Heritage Bank) for fundraising events like the Cancer Walk, March of Dimes and United Way. Everyone looks forward to their annual sale and, this year, Patti also donated some of the gift bags for the YMCA's silent auction.
Patti continues to draw inspiration every time she walks into Art 'n Soul and from all of the wonderful artists and friends there."
