This is our last night in Ravenna. This morning, we went to the 'open market' that is only open on Wednesday's and Saturday's. Even in the heat, the older ladies are riding their bicycles to and from the market, and anywhere else their activities take them. I never see young people on the bikes . . . only the older women and some older men.

Fancy Lattice card tutorial |
by Michelle Woerner |
"Hi everyone! This week we have a free theme on the blog, meaning we can blog any kind of project with any dies we want to use, so I chose to use the Fancy Lattice Expandable Patterns die template.
I made a card similar to this one before and received numerous questions about how to best die cut cardstock using this die. The following is a complete tutorial on the best way I know to get the crispest die cuts.

The bicycles are all well worn and one can only wonder how many miles have been pedaled. They are ridden in the town center and in the outskirts of town.
the fresh produce was amazing and plentiful; there is a 'red' canteloupe that we've been enjoying . . . it is THE sweetest canteloupe I've ever enjoyed! |
there was a bounty of fresh herb and vegetable plants |
and out of nowhere in a small floral stand, this most amazing bouquet of peonies; this photo does not do them justice! |
Ciao for now . . . my siesta is calling after a wonderful lunch of pasta made with a little garlic, pureed tomatoes, sage, parsley, rosemary, parmagiana cheese and a little bit of light cream. Mama Mia!
