Gift Bag

What’s nicer than offering a nice gift ?

To surprise even more the person to whom you’re giving, think about decorating your bag.

A few scraps of leftovers from your favorite papers of the Emotions collection, 3 small flowers made from a narrow band of paper rolled around itself with a heart of mini pearls, a die cut self-adhesive cork and a Happy Birthday label… and there you go, you’re ready to offer a personalized gift!

I am so anxious to get back to the techniques that we learned from Helene in last week's class. I did ask Helene to make the plastic images of their bird from their stencil set for the shadow image on alcohol ink technique. If you were not at one of the classes, Magenta is going to make a full 12x12 chipboard sheet of reindeer cut-outs and one of the birds on a holly branch cut-outs ($6.25 each), as well as an 8.5x11 cork sheet of cardinal birds ($7.15 each). If you want some of these, please order them now; I will be making out the paper side of the Magenta order on Monday.

Here are samples of the chipboard cut-outs I'm talking about . . . you can also use the die-cut space of the chipboard for stencils of those same images.

Dianne has been making card samples to showcase the Candi; you can buy them in colors and white that can be colored with your Copic markers. I love how they work with the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas papers. You can also purchase the special-sized foam stickers to use behind the Candi to adhere them onto your project(s).
