Journal Club Highlights, New Ribbons & New Card Samples

Art 'n Soul's Journal Club met yesterday afternoon and it was full of beautiful surprises. Today, I'm going to focus on Gloria Walker's artistry . . .

Gloria took a shoe, drew the mermaid image, and painted it with craft paint. Who would dare wear this beautifully artistic shoe on anything but a perfect day?

At the Puyallup Stamp Show, there was a 'new for us' product that Gloria, Judy & Sam purchased. Gloria made this tag book; the photos just do not convey the beauty of these images. All of the components of the image are layered on with mounting tape; and, coupled with the beautiful glaze finish on each piece, results in something exquisite to make a book, card, journal, etc., a very special work of art. With her usual cleverness, Gloria also added a fortune cookie 'fortune strip" at the bottom of each image on the tag.
