Zen . . . tangling all afternoon!

There were several of us who enjoyed Deb Kuttel's second Zentangle class. None of us started any of the 4 cards she prepared for us . . . we were toooo busy learning new zentangle designs and the techniques to achieve each one. Talk about a new addiction . . .

For those of us who were there . . . and might not (or probably won't) remember what each of the cards should look like or 'resemble' . . . here are the pics. Those of you who haven't joined in on the fun (yet!), you can always step right in -- I was not able to take the first class and had no trouble picking up the technique at this class. And it may look precise but precision isn't what it's all about . . . it's consistency. And if you make a boo-boo, there's an easy way to still make your piece of art without starting over . . . just be consistent and no one else will know the difference! If Zentangle were that precise, none of us would enjoy it.

An order will be going in for the Micron 03 tip pen for coloring in some of the larger shapes; it otherwise "takes forever" with the Micron 01 tip pen. If you want to be sure to get one, place your order asap at the store. Susie is also going to look into the availability of a fine-tip Copic pen set that was purchased in Japan . . . keep your fingers crossed.

Another exciting week lies ahead . . . what fun will it bring to Art 'n Soul this week? Please drop in and find out!
