Art 'n Soul's Inspiration Station this month features the new templates from Magenta. What's exciting is that the designer of the new templates has also been designing new stamps that are now available to order from their latest catalog.

Here is a link to their latest catalog release which came out the day of Art 'n Soul's 11th Birthday Party!

"Christine Gaudreault of MarieLune Design is a very versatile artist, so she wanted to offer a range of products that lend themselves to various artistic tendencies, be it cards, scrapbooking, mixed media or even art journalling.  It's an extremely varied collection you will love!"

Today's Inspiration Station comes from Marj Marion . . .

You've seen me refer to her work before, Betsy Wilson. I love how she created a colored pencil design before zentangling® inside.

On their Facebook posting, Penny Black Inc. says Heather started this from a left-over scrap. I could wish all of my starts from a left-over scrap would turn out so beautifully.

Kay Miller has created a very "happy" looking card using vibrant happy colors with Penny Black stamps.

Jean Okimoto never fails to make the most simple card design a very dynamic one for Memory Box. Look at these two card designs using one of my favorite summertime friends, the butterfly.

I shared photos of my visit to the City of Seattle's neighborhood, Columbia City, Farmer's Market a couple of weeks ago. Here are some more, and this time you'll see how much I love sweet peas! This market is literally in the backyard of Sandy Jackson's Seattle home (SAR/Hasty Lace). It was a very visual and buying treat for both Helene and I.

This cheese from Samish Bay Cheese,
Creamy Aged Ladysmith, is one of the best
soft cheeses I've enjoyed in a long time. If you happen
to run across it, treat yourself. The business is located on the
north side of Samish Bay.

I haven't forgotten about sharing photos from the Terry Medaris classes this past weekend. The problem is I left my sack of class projects at the store when I left, and it included the list of students. I'm picking up the sack tomorrow, so I should be able to finally post those the next time.

A friendly reminder . . . current open catalogs at Art 'n Soul are listed below. If you're wanting to place an order, please do so soon, especially with Memory Box/PoppyStamps.
