Another fantastic start to Recycled Rubber at Art 'n Soul yesterday (Saturday). Our heartfelt "thank you" to each and every one of you who brought things in for the sale, and to each and every one of you who came into the store today to purchase those treasures. A reminder that Recycled Rubber continues today (Sunday) from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Dianne will be there to help you out!

I discovered that one of our customers, Amy Cassidy, hand-makes cute hair bows with the ribbons she purchases at Art 'n Soul. Not only does she make them to match her daughter's outfits, Amy also sells them. We feel quite honored that Amy has chosen ribbons from Art 'n Soul to create with; if you have particular types of ribbons that you like or prefer to work with, please be sure to let us know!

On the Magenta blog, Edith Racine used alcohol inks for her background colors. On top of the alcohol inks, she then stamped the Magenta's "Water Drops" stamp; and, I absolutely love how adding it results in better dimension for the background look.

One of their most important tips is making sure to keep the cap on at all times when the pen is not in actual use; and to store them flat.
