As they say . . . we're back! The festivities of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and planning the Gjerde family Christmas celebration tomorrow night has kept me away from the computer and this blog. Everything takes three times as long and my sweet husband has been trying to pick up the slack with washing dishes, shopping for the Christmas presents and helping to wrap them as well. I did make 3 pies for the Christmas Eve dinner.


We're proud to announce that Michelle DeBell of Olympia is the winner of Art 'n Soul's Twelve Days of Christmas drawing. Pam was thrilled to present the basket of goodies and treasures from Art 'n Soul; another package of papers and ribbons from Bella Carta at Art 'n Soul will be delivered to Pam after the New Year.

That's all I have time for this evening. Christmas Eve at my niece's was festive and fun with the mix of adults and little ones. My husband and his son prepared a Swedish dinner for our small Christmas celebration last night; it was delicious. And this morning, I learned that my nephew and his wife welcomed their 3rd daughter, Zoe, to their family on Christmas Day. We are so blessed with a large and wonderful family, direct and extended. And tomorrow evening brings Christmas with my granddaughter and great-granddaughter who is 15-months of joy.
