With the beautiful metallic washi tapes from Little B that were introduced at Art ‘n Soul’s Christmas Party earlier this month, try this technique using them and to use up your bits of leftover pieces of card stock. Select the washi tape(s) that you want to use, along with matching metallic paper. Cut a piece of plain white card stock to accommodate your chosen holiday die. Cover the card stock with the washi tape(s) and metallic paper that has been cut into thin strips (1/8” to 1/4” wide). Don’t worry about exactly matching the edges of the card stock because those areas of the covered card stock will not be used.

Use your favorite ornament die and cut with your die-cutting machine. Punch a small hole at the top of each ornament and loop a piece of ribbon through it. Mount the die cuts with foam mounting tape. Apply the peel-off sentiment sticker to the side of the card. Adhere the top panel (5-3/4” square) to the base card (6” square). Both the top panel and the base card are from last year’s Fancy Pants’ Merry Little Christmas “Wassail” paper (#2064). Gold-colored crystals were randomly adhered to the ornaments, as well as each corner of the top panel.
