So, the storm of the month blew in yesterday afternoon and evening. Lots of power outages, including where I live. During the drive home on I-5, the wind literally "picked me up" three different times . . . scary! I had just walked into the house and not 5 minutes later, the power went out. I was going to unload my car so I had not shut the garage door; my husband had to close and lock it manually. Luckily I had the "torch" software on my iPhone so we had a flashlight to immediately use because it was dark. With nothing left to do, including eating, we went to bed. Both of us were tucked in with our electronic reading devices with (luckily!) fully charged batteries, but not enough to work on the blog.

Customers are coming into the store asking if there is anything left to see from last Sunday's Christmas Party; several of you were unable to join in the fun because of the flu and colds going around. The answer is, yes! The sample cards and other projects are still at the store, along with some of the new products that were introduced. All of the companies demo'd or promoted at the party are on 'open catalog' status. If there's something you see that you like but the stamp isn't available to purchase, please fill out a pink sheet order.

Here are Pam Nelson's beautiful Christmas Party cards . . . they are so gorgeous!

The thin-width clear bags that are perfect for Halloween candies is back on the front counter for the week. They're perfect for your favorite little goblins! and they're only 10-cents each! (The sample shown is attached to the card stock just so there is something to support it in the display jar.)

A customer was in looking for some acetate to make shaker cards for the holidays. There is plenty of acetate and there is a small supply of micro beads.

There are lots of the clear micro beads that you can color with your alcohol inks.

On the Memory Box blog, there is a beautiful card highlighting the colors of fall using deli paper.
