"Rubber Stamp Madness" has always been one of my favorite magazines. The current issue is out for print and expected to ship out to subscribers this week according to the email I received this morning. I wanted to share one of the featured artists in this issue, Jessi Cornwell, known as the Cut-Out Queen.

by Jessi Cornwell for Rubber Stamp Madness Magazine, Fall 2014 Issue
"Jessi Cornwell—the Cut-Out Queen. This New England stamper loves to emboss, cut out images and create beautiful cards, many with a Fall theme. Her stamping technique includes lots of embossing and an extremely sharp German-made pair of scissors with two-inch blades.
"I’ll stamp one image on ten different colors of cardstock, then dip whole sheets into big tubs of embossing powder. Mostly I use clear detail EP with black ColorBox ink—I must re-ink that pad twenty times a month," she says.
Magic Leaves by Jessi Cornwell. (Stamp credits: Word “Autumn”—Art Impressions; autumn postoid—Hero Arts; background leaves—Peddler’s Pack; square leaves collage—Rubber Stamps of America; branch border—Stampscapes; small leaf—Fred B. Mullett; medium leaf—A.N.T. Transfer [Magenta]; large leaf—JudiKins.)"

Dianne has a posting on the Magenta blog, featuring the shimmer of summer with a simply beautiful stamp from Magenta and a two-inch (aka Twinchie) art square from Inchie Arts.

We're preparing for Art 'n Soul's 11th Birthday Party. Come and celebrate with us this Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Demo's by Helene Metivier of Magenta; John Creighton Petersen of IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko; Sandy Jackson of Some-Assembly-Required and Hasty Lace; and Maggie Crawford of Millsrepco representing Elizabeth Craft Designs. Dianne's at the store again tomorrow. Remember, the Magenta Trunk Show continues through the birthday party . . . we're the only retailer offering their latest release stamps and templates. You might want to shop while there is calm and quiet at the store compared to the celebratory party atmosphere this Sunday.

See you tomorrow!
