Today, most everyone is celebrating Father's Day with family and friends. It's good to appreciate what "dad's" do in the lives of sons and daughters, and that they celebrate their relationships and appreciation on this day and all the other days in the year.

At Art n'n Soul, we've enjoyed a very busy Friday and Saturday. Friday afternoon, the Art Journal Club met . . .

Art 'n Soul's Journal Club sharing their inspirations & creativity.

. . . and yesterday Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs taught two classes. The creativity was flowing!

Elizabeth Craft Design's Class --Coloring with Copics by Els
at Art 'n Soul on Saturday, June 14, 2014

Whether or not you were part of Saturday's classes, there are still some of the Microfine Fine Silk Glitters, Peel-Off's, and there might be a few of their new embossing folders left. We are preparing an Elizabeth Craft Designs' order right now . . . the pink sheets were flowing yesterday. If you haven't submitted your order, please turn it in by the close of business tomorrow (Monday, June 16).

Even though the new release images will not be available to retailers and consumers until some time next week, I did find a few on Karen Burniston's blog. Art 'n Soul customers may pre-order those in the ECD order we're taking now and they will send those when they're available next month; existing designs of their various products will ship as soon as the order is received from us.

Here is a list that I compiled:

  • Ring Accordian Card
  • Circle in a Circle Accordian Card
  • Stand Up Helpers 2 (ELZ 129) to use with easel cards -- genius!
  • Stand Up Helpers Season's Greetings (ELZ 139)
  • Stand Up Helpers Best Wishes (ELZ 133)
  • Stand Up Helpers Congratulations (ELZ 134)
  • Stand Up Helpers Get Well Soon (ELZ 135)
  • Stand Up Helpers Happy Birthday (ELZ 136)
  • Stand Up Helpers HELLO (ELZ 137)
  • Stand Up Helpers Merry Christmas (ELZ 138)
  • Stand Up Helpers Thank You (ELZ 140)
  • Stand Up Helpers Thinking of You (ELZ 141)
  • Stand Up Helpers Happy New Year (ELZ 142)
  • Stand Up Helpers Merry Christmas (ELZ 143)
  • Stand Up Helpers Season's Greetings (ELZ 144)

I will have to get the prices from Els tomorrow . . . I forgot!

In the Coloring with Copics class, Els suggested that we review her instructional video at this link:

And this is a link to Karen Burniston's blog posting that features the various peel-off designs that match the dies . . . all from Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Here's the link to Karen's posting. You might find some that you'll want to order --

If you look closely, you'll see that the angled card front is
clear acetate; it's then adjoined to the middle panel which is
also cut at an angle; and the last panel is a normal
rectangle size.

Tomorrow, I'll show you more sample cards and the Journal Club art from Friday.

Heather Telford has used a different technique for layering on the Penny Black blog. After seeing the journal pages by the Art 'n Soul Journal Club members on Friday, I immediately thought of them when I saw this page.

We hope to see you at Art 'n Soul tomorrow; Marj would love to see you. And I hope to see you back here again real soon.
