Judy Jung creates a lot of cards using Penny Black stamps and dies. I really like how she put this card together . . .

You can find the details from Judy's blog, "Livin' the Dream" . . .
Judy also shows this card that uses the same background die from Penny Black . . .

Sherry Hester uses the same Honeycomb stencil from PoppyStamps on two beautiful cards . . .

And then look at this card design by Sherry, again using the Honeycomb stencil from PoppyStamps. I love how she used the foliage from a wreath die for the stems of leaves on this card.

I am in total awe of what I saw on today's Magenta blog posting and what I saw on the artist's blog. This artist used stamps from Magenta, Impression Obsession and Chocolate Baroque. It's been a while since I've seen anything like this; on this artist's blog, she shows what was made in a workshop at a store in Amsterdam. Helene and I both think it would be fun for a group to travel to Amsterdam for one of her classes . . . in my wildest dreams!
This is the link to the Magenta blog where I first saw her work: http://lestylemagenta.blogspot.ca/2014/06/coup-de-coeur-juin-2014-won-our-hearts.html. Once a quarter, Magenta shares what members of their Design Team have spotted on the internet that they would like to bring to the attention of their blog subscribers. This is the card that caught my eye; Magenta Design Team member Ellie Knol is the one who spotted it!

This is the link to Miranda's blog; you must visit it because she shows more beautiful card designs using ornamental stamps from Magenta and background cover-a-card stamps from Impression Obsession:
These cards were made in a workshop led by Miranda. Where do I sign up! I am most definitely revisiting the Magenta catalog to order up several of their ornamental stamp designs!
Tomorrow is July 1! Can you believe it? That means this Saturday and Sunday is Recycled Rubber at Art 'n Soul. Because the Fourth of July falls on Friday, Art 'n Soul will be closed that day. And any day now, we are expecting our order from JudiKins! And I leave for Italy on Thursday to visit our granddaughters. What a way to start the new month.
I'm headed back to the studio where I've been hibernating, trying to finish up samples for classes at Art 'n Soul. I'll let you know when they're ready . . . in the meantime, have you signed up for the Rubbermoon classes at the beginning of August? The owner and designer is coming to Art 'n Soul and we feel quite privileged that she has scheduled classes at the store. Look at the class schedule and please sign up soon . . . http://bellacartaatartnsoul.blogspot.com/p/sunday-september-1-10am-3pm-maryjo.html.
A trip to Ansterdam sounds fun. Dreams do come true!
