Lisa showed us the new 4-inch Art Square that she
had worked on; I placed it on the lid to an envelope
box and it looked pretty cool!

Patti was busy during class time as well. She made these 4 gorgeous cards that are displayed at the store.

Background paper from SEI's Azalea collection
Stamp:  Magenta 14633.P stamped with
Memento in Pistachio

Base card is the new Neenah "Classic Columns"
card stock; it has a beautiful raised column design
with a little sheen.
Leaves, words and teapot images are stamps inked
on a piece of SEI paper.

Both of the cards were stamped with
this stamp from Impression Obsession.
Come on into Art 'n Soul to see these cards in person; you're going to really like them!

There is a blog posting I found that shows you how to make your own enamel dots . . . when you're in a pinch, it might be the thing to do!

Recycled Rubber Saturday is coming up at the end of this week. If you have items you want in the sale, please be sure to bring them in no later than this Wednesday (April 30) so staff has time to price them.

Isha Gupta is the Guest Designer on the Hero Arts blog today. She's showing how she used one stencil for 2 different card designs which I thought were very bright and cheery.

Baerbel Born uses IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko's Kaleidacolor to make a very pretty background paper for a pillow box. Check out her how-to video here:

If by chance the video doesn't work, you may go to this link for the post with the video . . .  http://imaginecraftsblog.com/2014/04/27/kaleidacolor-resist-with-versamark/

That's it for tonight. Dianne's at the store tomorrow (Tuesday) and I know she'd be extremely delighted if you stopped in to say 'hi'!
