Click on this link to go to their blog post today; it will also showcase another clever use of dies by Pam for a third card:  http://davebrethauer.typepad.com/outsidethebox/

At the store, you can see this card by Marj; I love the vibrant colors that backdrop the white die cuts.

Click on this link to see how quickly and easily Stephanie put this little book together. A friend of mine recently retired and there was quite a celebratory 'girl's night' planned; I wanted to do something to commemorate the fun night and this will be perfect to capture the photos, FB posts, tickets and theatre program mementos.

Look at this gorgeous card from Elizabeth Craft Designs' Facebook posting . . . it features a card made with one of the new ECD Pop-It-Up dies designed by Karen Burniston.

This is the link to Anita's blog that shows more photos; unfortunately, it isn't posted in English but the photos are wonderful to look at:  http://anita-izendoorn.blogspot.nl/2014/03/doeding-demodag-1-nog-1-dag-te-gaan.html

Speaking of Elizabeth Craft Designs, Els is coming to Art 'n Soul on Saturday, June 14. She is preparing to spend most of the month of March in Australia teaching classes. Luckily, she sent these photos of the cards that you will make in her two classes so you can decide which of her classes you'll want to take . . . hopefully, both of them!

FILE FOLDER CARD
  • 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card stock size
  • Score at 4-1/2"
  • Cut so the card measures 6-3/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Attach a printed/patterned paper with glue stick (or your preferred adhesive)
  • Insert the front left corner of the card into the punch board cutter, along the left edge of the cutter opener
  • Punch; then move to 3" and punch
  • Turn the card stock over so the back of the card stock is facing you; insert the left hand corner into the cutter, and punch
  • Move to 3" and punch
  • Cut away the excess from the 'v' to the edge of the card, leaving the file folder 'tabs'

  • Cut card to measure 5-1/2" x 7-3/4"
  • Punch tab on left corner of card front; punch at 3"
  • Turn the card over so the back of the card is facing you

  • 4-1/4" x 11" card stock size (Vertical File Folder)
  • Cut card to measure 9-1/2" x 11"

  • Turn over card so the back of the card is facing you
  • Align left corner and punch; then punch again at 2-1/2"

It's time to turn in. I'm at the store tomorrow afternoon. I hope you'll stop by and say 'hi'!
