Patti has generously shared the information to make this pocket. I tried it and took quick pics to help illustrate the directions; please excuse the poor lighting!
Step 1: Take a square sheet of paper (any size); the sample at the store
is a 10x10. Fold paper in half diagonally.

Step 2: Take one of the lower corners of your triangle and fold it over
to the middle of the other triangle side.
Step 3: Take the other lower corner of the triangle and fold it over to
the middle of the opposite side.
Step 4: Take one layer of your top corner and fold it down to create your
pouch.
Step 5: Decorate and fill your pouch.
I hope you'll enjoy making this gift pocket for any occasion!
IMAGINE Crafts' blog has the best video on how to make this card. The enamel dots you see on the flower center and across the bottom of the card are made from the irRESISTible spray bottle . . . fabulous!

Thanks, Marj, for always bringing such beautiful cards to Art 'n Soul for inspiration.
The snow has melted and the rain is on, and on, and on. It may be miserable outside but as I told one young woman today, at least I can get around in it.
As you get around town, please be sure to stop in at Art 'n Soul. We're raining with ideas on how to make your handmade cards beautiful. Dianne will be at the store tomorrow and she'd be delighted to offer up some ideas!
I don't know what's cutest . . . their little paws, their little mouths looking to be fed, or those little bellies! |
