Oh my 40 winks! Is anyone going to be able get to sleep, let alone sleep, tonight? Tomorrow's our big day . . . our Seattle Seahawks playing in the Super Bowl!

by Molly McLachlan

To celebrate the "12th Man", Art 'n Soul will be open from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. During that time, Art 'n Soul wants to get in on the Seahawk's 12th Man Fever. We're offering a 12% discount on all in-stock merchandise only (sans Recycled Rubber). Celebrate the 12th at Art 'n Soul before Super Bowl kick-off. Dianne is so hyped up to see y'all tomorrow (Sunday)! Just remember, we're closing  early at 3:00 p.m. so no one is tempted to steal away from the game to shop at Art 'n Soul!

Marj has added a new class to the schedule! And it falls on Monday, February 17 . . . another federal/state holiday. Because it's such a short lead time to the class date, Marj has allowed me to share a pic of the 3 cards you'll make in the class.

Monday, February 17, 1:00-3:30 p.m. (it's a holiday!)
ONE STAMP, THREE WAYS! with Marj, $30.

Don't you love holidays on a Monday? Come enjoy a class with Marj as you play with one stamp, done three beautiful ways. We'll use gorgeous stamps from Magenta and Impression Obsession AND, you'll get ot play with Marj's FAVORITE new Library Alphabet Tag die set from Memory Box. You can choose the word(s) you spell on the card using these adorable dies. Marj will share coloring techniques and embellishment tricks. If there is time, we'll do a bonus project. Bring your basic kit, and tweezers, and if you already have the Library Alphabet Tag set, please bring it along.

As always, you're going to want to sign up asap; we've already signed up someone for the class and Marj just posted this class today. Stop by the store or call us at 360.357.6820. I've signed up, too.

Another superb dinner at J. Alexander's. It's a chop and seafood grill . . . the food is so yummy, the service is beyond reproach, and it's a hopping place. I loved their dinner menu art . . .

Menu at J. Alexanders, Boca Raton FL
If you're in the Boca Raton FL area, I recommend dining there. Ask if you can be seated in Luis' section; we all loved him. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and specifics on every dish and provided impeccable service. It turns out he was born in Ecuador and has lived here since he was 15; he is now in graduate school. Luis had my total admiration!

See y'all tomorrow if my celebratory fingers can still talk!
