Go to this link that will take you to the Authentique website, click on 'blog' and then scroll down to the January 23 posting. I was in the store this afternoon and saw a couple of the "Smitten" 6x6 pads on the front table.

This afternoon, I also delivered 3 new 6x6 paper pads from Authentique . . .

ABROAD

PRECIOUS

PROMISE

I was a little birdie watching Sue price her stamps for Recycled Rubber that's coming up a week from tomorrow! She brought in 2 boxes of stamps that will be treasures for someone else. And I know another customer brought in Sizzix dies. If I'm lucky with time this coming week, I'll have stamps for Recycled Rubber, too. If you want to earn store credit for the rubber stamps, rubber stamping tools and accessories that you don't have need for now, Art 'n Soul's Recycled Rubber monthly sale is a fabulous way to clean out your stash and make some money. Recycled Rubber is also the best 'deal in town' once a month at Art 'n Soul . . . the first Saturday of the month! It's hard to believe the first Saturday of February is only a week away! Stop in the store or call us at 360.357.6820 for more information.

We're waiting for Impression Obsession's order to arrive with new stamps and dies. Millsrepco just posted this card, originally posted last April, and I wanted to repeat it as well here because it illustrates how wonderful the IO dies and stamps work!

From Karen Burniston's Facebook posting today showing Judi Kauffman's 'draft version of a card design' using the new Elizabeth Craft Designs' dies designed by Karen.

by Judi Kauffman for Elizabeth Craft Designs

"Judi Kauffman shared her discovery: One section cut with the Square w/Circle Frame Edger solid shape die folds forward to make a shirt collar. The top half of the Four Bows die makes a great bow tie. For wedding or anniversary: Formal black tie on one side, bow beneath a bouquet of flowers on the other. Instead of two shirt collars, a greeting or photo on one of the circles. Endless options! Judi said the card is a rough draft for another card she has in mind with this idea but wanted to share the idea right away. How clever!"
