Great news! Linda Long from Lost Coast Designs has finally found a date that she will return to teach a delightful looking class and a Trunk Show with her fabulous stamps that we all love so much. The all-day class on November 30 is about making little characters. See all of the clever images at Art 'n Soul.

Linda of Lost Coast, CRACKS BENEATH OUR FEET, $50
From Linda Long:
"Remember finding objects in cloud shapes? Now we'll find what lies in the cracks in the sidewalk? Spend a fun day creating your own imaginary animals inspired by the world's mundane cracks/blobs/spats. No artist skill required!  We'll explore different medias and techniques to see the world from a new angle. Bring a mixed-media journal if you have one. I'll bring sheets of mixed-media paper if you don't have one. Also bring a pencil and eraser, and any fine-tip black drawing pens, e.g., Farber Pitt or Micron, and maybe your favorite coloring tools. I'll bring some Copic markers, assorted color pencils and crayons, some dove blenders, and Pan Pastels, so don't buy anything special. You'll get to experiment with a lot of colors and see what you like best. If you have a portable light table, please bring it. I'll bring some Golden glazes, gesso, and dictionary pages so we can do a bit of collage, too.
This is an all-day, drop-in class, so if you are busy in the morning, or need to leave in the afternoon, that's fine, or hang out with us the entire time :-)"

Call Art 'n Soul (360.357.6820) if you're unable to come in and sign up; this class is going to fill up quickly! And come in any time the day of the class so you won't miss out on the Lost Coast Designs' Trunk Show!

"These tags are made with the Tags Die #763. It comes with 3 different sizes of tags, the leaves, the berries and the acorn. You can use all kind of materials. We used Shimmer Sheetz, Silk Microfine glitter and added some shadow on the glitter with the Copic markers. The red tag is embossed red velvet adhesive sheets."

You know how much we love zentangling at Art 'n Soul. Look at how Eric Erickson, Artist-in-Residence for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, applied this wonderful art form to scrapbooking:
