IT'S THE Spoo-BOOK! -- Debbie Gaetz
Sunday, October 20, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

You read it correctly. A Spoo-BOOK for Spook Day! This is a fantastic deal for the class price. Each student will receive one of the new Farm House Papers blank books to decorate and embellish with either Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells or My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting collections. In advance you will select which of the two collections you want to enjoy using for your Halloween Spoo-BOOK and you will receive a packet of every paper in the collection, their other embellishments offered in the collection, i.e., chipboard, stickers, et al, to work with. A sample book of each will be at the store the week of October 7. In the meantime, please take a look at your options and sign up quickly because there are limits on product availability for each collection. Please bring your basic class kit to include a paper trimmer and small hole punch or Japanese Hole Punch.

Saturday, October 26, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

You'll make Halloween Magic with 3 cards. IMAGINE Crafts® new Vertigo™ will be used for one of the cards, as well as Elizabeth Crafts Designs' Shimmer Sheetz, new Halloween word stamps from Impression Obsession . . . all to make your afternoon a fun spooky time! Samples of the cards will be at Art 'n Soul the week of October 7 (I had mailed 2 of the sample cards to the store and they appear to be lost in the postal system, so I will have to make them again -- 10/5/13). Please bring your basic class kit.

Patti Ritterhouse brought in these beautiful cards she made with one cut of an Impression Obsession nesting die set using the positive and negative pieces and some holographic paper  . . .

Our Marj Marion is going to be a grandma again! She helped make decorations for her daughter's baby shower and Marj made this adorable banner.

by Marj Marion
"This shows the whole banner, except for more tulle at the bottom of the quotes."

by Marj Marion
"Left side, spelling Mama."

by Marj Marion
"Sideways shot of quotes about Kris."

by Marj Marion
"Right side of banner, with her name. Lots of fun, and it makes me glad I bought “all that stuff” so I could create it as I wished!"

That's it for today . . . I had hoped to post early this morning. Instead, I slept about 16 hours. But not long enough to miss out on this absolutely gorgeous day of sunshine and warmth. I hope you've enjoyed the day as well!
