"Adding Texture to card"

We've always prided ourselves in promoting and using the beautiful stamps and other products by Magenta. There is a huge Magenta trunk show starting tomorrow at Art 'n Soul, and we're loaded 'to the gills' with wood mount and foam cling mount stamps from Magenta, as well as Magenta templates, wood pieces, decorated paper paks, the ultra-thick white paper paks, etc.

And there's more . . . the Notions order arrived today as well! If you didn't receive your phone call about a pre-order, it's because the order arrived too late in the afternoon to unpack, process, price, sort and call before store closing time. So the calls will go out in the morning. You can always stop in to check on your order without waiting for a call too!

There's a whole lot going on at Art 'n Soul. With all of the classes tomorrow, you might not want to wait to come in and see what there is because quite a bit will probably sell quickly. And we don't know how much might, if at all, come back from the stamp show over the weekend; a lot goes up on Friday for set-up so it would be prudent to shop tomorrow!

Today I want to show you some of the fantastic Cheery Lynn Designs Embossing Plates.  I have made a rather clean and simple card that I hope helps to show you just how lovely they are.  If you have not tried them before you really should!  Not only are they more durable than the plastic embossing folders, they are more flexible and Cheery Lynn Designs has some very unique designs that will provide another level of texture to your project.

I am so thankful for my iPhone with the 12mp camera. If I had taken the photos with my camera, I would not have been able to retrieve the photo files from the camera stick onto the computer . . . those issues still linger! But with the phone's camera, I can edit and then email the photos to me for downloading. The nuances of computereeeze is all too confusing and illogical at times, isn't it?


I'm so excited about the 3 Magenta classes. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at Art 'n Soul tomorrow!
