CHERISH Collection in 6x6 paper pads

If you have the time, you should check out each link for the 30 Graphic 45 Design Team finalists for 2013. Their work is incredible . . . I'm sure not every project will be 'your cup of tea' but you have to admire and respect the time and effort it took to create these projects. Several times I was totally blown away!

From the Spellbinders' blog, another amazingly beautiful project from Linda Lucas!
Licensed Dies by Samantha Walker by Linda Lucas

"It is a pleasure this week to be showcasing the Designer Collections - did you see the fabulous inspiration with Becca Feeken's gorgeous Dies by Lisa Fulmer - you can see the Video Tutorial here.

by Linda Lucas for Spellbinders
I am excited to be using the Ornate Squares Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® by the very talented Samantha Walker - I have to be honest and say that these dies do most of the work for you!  I have used the different Dies within the set to create layers - and of course some bling - nice and easy.

Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Supplies:
  • GC-001 Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine
  • S5-166 Ornate Squares Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities®
  • LF-127 Grand Scalloped Squares Spellbinders™ Grand Nestabilities®
  • S5-086 Bitty Blossoms Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities®

Preferred Promotional Partners:
  • Want2Scrap - 72 Count - LeCreme Pearls - Self Adhesive;  Beautiful Bling Borders by Nina Brackett - Beautiful Blooms;
Cross Promotional Partners:
  • Bazzill Basics Paper® -  Pink, White card
  • SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - Crafty Power Tape; 3D Foam Dots
  • Scor-Pal® - 1/2" Tape
  • Beacon Adhesives - Zip Dry Paper Glue
  • Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ - Foam Squares
Other:  Scissors, Dauber, Tsukineko VersaMagic - Pixie Pink

Fold a piece of  pink card in half, place the Grand Scalloped Squares Spellbinders™ Grand Nestabilities® onto the card, making sure the top is inside the cutting edge of the Die and cut with the Grand Calibur® Machine.  You will see the fold is at the top of the card.  Cut a single layer of this Die in pink card, use the Die as a stencil, sponging with Tsukineko VersaMagic - Pixie Pink to give some added depth.  Adhere to the front of your card base to complete the card base.

Cut one(1) of the largest Die from the Ornate Squares Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® using white card, one 1) of the second size with pink card and one (1)of the smallest motifs using white card.

Next cut one (1) of the second size Bitty Blossoms Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® in white, sponge the edges using Tsukineko VersaMagic - Pixie Pink and roll the flower using a small paintbrush or something of a similar with - you can see a full tutorial on creating the flowers HERE.

Run a length of white Seam Binding through the Ornate Squares Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® from the front, across the back and back thorough the front loop.  Turn the Die over and adhere Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ - Foam Squares on the back (I have used the black ones to make it easier for you to see where they are placed).  Next add Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ - Foam Squares to the back of the pink and small white layers.  Pop the three layers together, centering each Die.

Using Scor-Pal® - 1/2" Tape attach the Seam Binding across the center of the layered Dies, as shown below.

Attach a double Seam Binding Bow using Beacon Adhesives - Zip Dry Paper Glue, followed by the Bitty Blossoms  Rose.

Finish off by adding the bling - first a large Want2Scrap LeCreme Pearls as shown in the photos below, followed by a strip of  Beautiful Bling Borders by Nina Brackett - Beautiful Blooms inbetween the Dies

Thank you for stopping by today, it is always lovely to read your comments - we appreciate you taking the time to leave each one.  I hope you are inspired to check out the Designer Collections- they are amazing!"
