"A little winter warmth from Paris! I love this card!
Winter in Paris
by Maureen for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko
I created this card for Tsunkineko/Imagine Crafts…here’s how I did it – follow me here – this gets a bit detailed on the ‘how-to’ part, perhaps a video would have been a bit more helpful.
Finished card 4.25 x 5.5”
Cut snowflake cardstock 5.5” x 4.25” and cut one long side with Fleur de Lis edge punch
Cut red cardstock 5.5” x 1” and cut one long side with Fleur de Lis edge punch
Stamp Eiffel Tower on center of snowflake paper with Onyx Versafine and emboss with clear powder
Add small rhinestone to top of tower
2012_12_15
Cut a ¼” slit along each side of Eiffel Tower approx 1.25” from top of tower
Cut a 2 ¾” strip of red ribbon and cut in a ‘v’ on each end
Lace ribbon through slits on each side of Eiffel town and knot
Using small glue dots, adhere edges of ribbon randomly to right side of Eiffel Tower
2012_12_151
Adhere red Fleur de Lis to back of snowflake paper and offset slightly
Adhere snowflake paper to Kraft cardstock aligning left side of snowflake paper with fold of Kraft card, this will leave approx ½” of exposed Kraft paper on right side of card

Fold strips every quarter inch alternating direction in an accordion fold – this is easiest if you are able to score paper in 1/4” increments
2012_12_152
Adhere 2 folded strips of ‘Jolly’ paper at ends and fold into circle. Run one long edge through the Delicata inkpad, let dry completely. This will be the outer edge of medallion. Glue center of backside with hot glue gun. You’ll need to hold it for a few minutes for the glue to dry and set.
Adhere medallion of ‘Jolly’ paper to card
Stamp ‘happy winter’ with ‘cloud white’ versamagic on a scrap of Kraft paper and cut in a ‘v’ on each edge
Adhere to center of medallion and then to snowflake paper to the left of the tower.

With the new and beautiful tea bag folding stamps offered by Impression Obsession, this class from Marj is very timely!

We hosted a dinner tonight for my husband's high school buddies. You can tell we're getting 'older' because we ate at 5:30 after an hour-long cocktail hour. In keeping with that schedule, I'm off to enjoy a piece of my banana cream pie to take with my meds and then I'm off to la-la land.
It may be frosty cold outside but inside, at Art 'n Soul, it's warm and inspiring. If you're out and about tomorrow, please stop in . . . Patti would love to say 'hi' and show you what's new at Art 'n Soul!
