Alert! The Viva pearl and glitter pens that we just received from Gary Burlin appear to be defective. The recently-added inventory has been pulled from the counter while we await a reply from our supplier. If you purchased one of the pens yesterday, please bring it to the store with your receipt. As soon as we know what the company wants to do, we'll let you know. We apologize for the inconvenience outside of our control.

From Elizabeth Craft Designs, the finished card she was working on . . .

by Els at Elizabeth Craft Designs
"I finished the card with the Circle of Roses (1282) that I colored on the airplane yesterday. First of all after the coloring I put an extra layer of the Sakura Glaze transparent over the flowers which gives it a really nice shine. The other Peel Offs I used are the New Frames Round (1289), the New Borders and Corners (1034) and the New Happy Birthday (397) which will become one on my favorite text sheets for sure. I added glitterdots (7018) in the Frame which I colored with the same color as I used for the roses. The background is a circle of the Be Creative tape. I did put the tape on a square of white cardstock first, then took off the protective sheet, put that protective sheet on the table, take the Frame and put it on the protective sheet with the sticky side up. Then take the piece with the tape and put that back on the protective sheet and the circle will be attached to the tape in a perfect circle. Die cut the circle. Then I put the colored Circle of Roses on the tape, sprinkled the Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter in a matching color, brushed it off and burnished it. You will see the border around the square. This card will be in one of our frames at CHA so for everybody that will be at the show come and watch (booth 1895) because it always look better when you can see the real card instead of a scan."

And to finish our note today, the 'best' new arrival at the store from our friends at Magenta . . .
