Many people take time after Christmas to clean out 'the old' to make room for 'the new'. If you're one of those people, it's a good time to replenish Art 'n Soul's Recycled Rubber stash with the stamps and dies that you now do not use. We ask that you mark all of your Recycled Rubber with your assigned initials so you receive proper credit when they're sold, and that you price the items for the amount you are willing to sell them for. Deb or Dianne will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

The first Recycled Rubber Saturday in the new year is January 7, 2012.

The new 2012 Hero Arts catalog is at the store and it's full of terrific stamps. It's 'open catalog' so pink sheets are welcome for any Hero Arts stamps that you must add to your stamp collection in either wood mount or cling mount.

I am not sure how many Christmas designs I made this year, but I was definitely excited to post something other than a holiday card today!

For today's card, I stamped the Flower Bundle image (E1321) onto Parchment cardstock using Colorbox Chalk Creamy Brown and Blackberry inks. The flower and stems are separate from each other, so it is really easy to stamp them in two different colors.

To embellish the card, I added a little Latte dot paper and pearls, rounded the edges of some of the cardstock, and stamped the Thank You Script greeting (E1321).

The other morning, after the marathon wrapping session, I took a quick snooze on the sofa. I awoke to find Hannah almost on top of my head. Why she thought she was comfortable, I'll never know . . . but it worked because she was sound asleep!

Sales are going on everywhere and Art 'n Soul is no exception to that rule. All 12x12 papers are still 35% off, and ribbons are 30% off (except the Kodomo/washi ribbons) as we prepare to ring out the year 2011. (Thank you for understanding that no other discounts apply.) Please help me make room for new papers because they will start trickling in about a week. Thanks so much!
