It's the 5th Day of Christmas at Art 'n Soul . . .

On the fifth day of Christmas, my Art ‘n Soul gave to me, 5 free yards of ribbon with a minimum $15 purchase. On Friday, dec 16. ONLY!

Today is Play Day at Art 'n Soul from 10:30 to 4:00. Join us at Art 'n Soul between 2 and 4 p.m. today to make birthday cards for Nancy Bishop's mom who turns 102! on Dec. 27. She LOVES receiving cards . . . and we thought it would be a nice 'surprise' if Ruth received several birthday cards from Nancy's friends at Art 'n Soul. I've never sent a birthday wish to someone who was enjoying their 102nd birthday!

• I'll provide one piece of any cardstock at the store for you to use. If you are unable to join us, please feel free to drop a card off for Ruth . . . we'll send them off to her next week!

Marj dropped off two new sample cards to inspire us.

Marj used her ATG adhesive around Santa and then
applied Flower Soft 'snow'.

Marj used her Spellbinder die to cut the opening
on the top card. She then took a photo she had
of icicles and placed it beneath the opening.
She also used a snowflake punch using the same
photo and applied that to the center of the ornament
(if you look close you can see a few spires from the snowflake design).

As The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten, says . . . "how easy is that!"

That's it for now . . . off to Puyallup to select cabinetry for the new house. Yesterday, it was plumbing; today it's cabinetry; Monday it's flooring. Deck the halls . . .
