Deliveries, Deliveries, Deliveries . . . all for you!

The delivery trucks have been busy bringing packages to Art 'n Soul. Marj is trying to 'unbury' herself from all of the products that need to be checked in, priced, and set out. There are Copic markers, daubers, Memory Box dies, Hero Arts stamps, etc.

New papers have arrived that are ready to go out tomorrow . . .

From Memory Box . . .

And the 6x6 paper pak which includes the full Valise collection . . .

From Pink Paislee . . .

All of these Pink Paislee papers in the Butterfly Garden collection really
work well together.

From SEI are some specially-priced papers from their Chick-A-Doo & Chick-A-Dee collection. These papers are 'new to us' but introduced a while back, so they were offering them at a reduced price that I'm passing along to you . . . 40-cents a sheet! for the 12x12 double-sided cardstock! I couldn't resist the birds!

From SEI's Couture collection, their 6x6 paper pads . . .

Marj has made a new sample card to share with you . . . she used one of the
new Memory Box dies on decorative cardstock. A clever lesson:  Marj put a piece
of wax paper underneath the cardstock so the die-cut would release from the die
easier; she then decided to keep the wax paper under the cardstock when she
placed the design onto the card front to give the image a little more definition
and a shadow effect.

And Marj has scheduled a new class on paper-casting on Monday, July 25 . . .
I remember taking this class a couple of years ago and it was very fun. Several of
us really got into the technique and purchased several of the molds. They make the
most beautiful cards!

Please come into the store or call the store to sign up . . . 360.357.6820

This is one of the paper casts you will make in the class.

These are two card samples by Marj Marion showing
how she used the paper casts on the card tops. I REALLY
like the thistle paper cast!

We've certainly had our share of international visitors to our home in the past 2 months. In May, Etsumi from Narita, Japan and Kazuko Kocho from Carlsbad, CA stayed here while they taught at Art 'n Soul and attended the Puyallup Stamp Show. We've just said good-bye to my husband's daughter who now lives in Milan, Italy; and her in-laws from Ravenna, Italy. It's going to be a priority now to learn the Italian language . . . Rosetta Stone, here I come! Kristen and her husband, Marco, are expecting a little girl in early November.

Until the next time . . . ciao!
