New Pan Pastel Supplies, New Classes, New Sample Cards & New IO Background Stamps

Two boxes of 'good' stuff have been delivered bringing us . . . spray fixatives (for Pan Pastel users) . . . giant and 2-finger daubers (for Pan Pastel users) . . . and (surprise!) Pan Pastel trays, large and small. And a third box arrived with more 'good' stuff from DreamWeaver.

Impression Obsession has 16 new background stamps . . . something you can make out a pink sheet for because we're taking orders right now. I was not able to copy images of the new background stamps in IO's 2011 Spring Supplement but "trust me" (!) when I say they are designs you'll want to either add to your collection of Create-A-Card cover stamps from IO . . . or start with. Come into the store and ask them to show you the designs.

Two new classes have been added to the class schedule . . .

"Festive Folded Pockets" Book by Judy Daugherty
Festive Folded Pockets Book
Saturday, May 21, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon . . . $35

This book is a charmer! Come create this easy to construct book with pockets that will offer you the opportunity to show your versatility. This is a pattern you will use again and again. The class will provide you with a choice of cardstock color and design options. I will also provide a variety of ribbon, Magenta peel-offs, paper flowers and metal corners. We will have plenty of time to complete our book and embellish them in class. Beside your basic class kit, please bring double-sided tape (either redline or ATG), craft knife, bone folder, and scissors.

I can attest this book is sooo much fun to make  . . .  thanks, Judy, for bringing this new project to Art 'n Soul next month.

The Grays of Spring
Saturday, April 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. . . . $25

A last-minute chance to brighten up the gray in your life by making something pretty with gray. We’re using some of the new Spellbinder dies, washi paper, Magenta peel-offs, Copic markers, Prismacolor colored pencils, stamps from Magenta, Hero Arts, LaBlanche and Peddlar’s Pack to create 4 cards with liner paper and envelopes. It may be gray outside but we can add spring to gray inside the store. Basic kit (to include craft pick, detail scissors, small paper trimmer); and if you have the following . . . Zots, die-cut machine.

The samples for both classes are at the store . . . please come in and take a look! and think about signing up!

Alissa has been busy making card samples for you to enjoy and to see how the various stamps at the store can be used . . .

I"ll post more of Alissa's creativity in the next post . . . she's been busy, but more important, she's having soooo much fun making these cards for the Art 'n Soul customers to see.

Look for the sun on Friday and Saturday . . . it's supposed to come out from hiding. I was getting worried . . . thought I might have to send a search party out looking for it.
