The Karen Lockhart stamp order arrived today and Deb will be processing the order tomorrow. Karen also sent new sample cards . . . I'm so glad that I had ordered these stamps!
Don't forget that Karen is teaching two (2) classes at Art 'n Soul on June 16. Sign up early because her classes always fill up fast, especially when there is a new technique to learn!
I am so delighted to share pics of Marj Chandler's Steampunk Fabric/Paper Journal. She embellished her journal in her own style and with items she had stashed away just waiting to be used. Since finishing this journal, she has also made a fabric/paper journal for her upcoming trip abroad using fabrics with travel themes; it's going to be fun looking through that journal when she returns.

by Marj Chandler Notice the BOTTLE CAP at the top left that Marj inserted a clip-out from the Steampunk paper. |

The following photos of Marj's journal are not in any particular order because I'm unable to remember the exact sequence. Enjoy the ride . . .
by Marj Chandler Look at the side note to the right that Marj inserted to identify what the journal is and the date. |

by Marj Chandler Note the zipper Marj used . . . a very popular embellishment these days. |

by Marj Chandler Did you notice the beautiful fabric Marj used? And the mini packages? |
by Marj Chandler I love the quote! |
by Marj Chandler Love the Quote! So appropriate for the journal. |
by Marj Chandler Adding the leaf ribbon and flowers to the woodwork makes it look like a beautiful Victorian trellis . . . and the framed "art" is perfect. |
by Marj Chandler Great Quote! |
by Marj Chandler Another "print by sewing machine" on the inside cover of the journal. |
by Marj Chandler One of my favorite pages . . . the hand reaching for the clock, the other hand holding onto a dangling key, the "Leap of Faith" and the Carl Sagan quote. It all flows perfectly. |

by Marj Chandler I like the way Marj cut out some of the symbols from the fabrics and placed them inside the journal (inside front cover). |

by Marj Chandler I like the 'cameo'. |

Marj, thanks so much for sharing . . . your journal is awesome. I hope others in the class will share their finished journals. It's so cool when folks take what they learn in class and run with it, their way! It's all a journey.
That's it for tonight; I have 10 minutes before the something turns into a pumpkin.
