Tired but still awake, we're back from Japan. We had a 3-hour departure delay, 2 of those hours ON the airplane awaiting news about a mechanical issue. The captain finally determined we had to change equipment, so we deplane; luckily, Helene is a Delta Gold Sky Member and we could go to the Delta Lounge to relax, eat and drink. When we landed around 11:30 a.m. here, it was 3:30 a.m. Saturday in Tokyo. We slept some but they were cat-naps at best.
Many, many pictures . . . even more laughs! It was an unbelievable experience and we cannot thank Helene enough for bringing this opportunity to us.
