so much, so much, so much!

I'm not ignoring the blog . . . I'm just trying to find enough "awake" time to get to it. All 3 of us are still struggling with the time difference, but it is getting better, hour by hour.

Last night's Magenta class was sooo much fun.

Helene has such simple but marvelously creative ways to make beautiful cards with Magenta chipboards, peel-off's and various art mediums. Here are the cards we made last night . . .

One of 2 Magenta bird scenes we could choose to make using
colored pencil, alcohol inks on the Magenta chipboard framing pieces, stamping the outside
piece with Magenta flourish stamp, and then
flicks of Quest metallic Watercolor on the center piece.

Using Magenta chipboard pieces, we embossed 2 sets
of this one Magenta stamp (black ink on black paper and clear embossing
powder); colored w/Art Quest watercolors; cut apart and
placed in a mosaic design on card stock before adhering
to the actual card. (P.S. -- check out that white pearl color on the pointsetta petals!)

Used Magenta cork mosaic pieces, colored with alcohol
ink, flicked with Art Quest watercolor metallic color,
and added Magenta peel-offs and painted in with the Art Quest
watercolors. The ornaments are "hung" using the
side strip of the Magenta peel-off sheet.

could choose to make.

Because the supply of chipboards, corkboard, and stamps from Magenta were not in supply at last night's class, Susie is giving the class until Saturday to place their "class day discount" order for any of the beautiful Magenta products, and that order will be submitted immediately following. All ANS customers are welcome to put their Magenta orders in this week as well -- you just won't receive the class discount.

I was able to see a "sneak preview" of Marj Marion's ANS Christmas Party goodies . . . OMG! If you don't place your order for the Magenta chipboard and stamp items now, you're going to want to after the Christmas Party on October 30.

Fabulous Marj has also scheduled a unique class on Sunday, November 13, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. It's Unique Designs:  Cards that Fold, Twist and Interlock and is $30 per person. Take a peek . . . the full sample board is up at the store.

Sue and Deb returned from a special all-day instructors class hosted by Product Performers this last Sunday. They have scheduled a class for a holiday decorative item using Graphic 45 holiday papers . . . take a look!

Up close . . . a customer mentioned that would
be perfect hunt in front of her fireplace for
the holidays!

she and Deb Kuttel will be teaching!

More to post later . . . don't miss some background stamps for the rocker by Outlines Rubber Stamp Co. that are on the back center table in the front part of the store. And new mini-flowers are in for that 'special' project of yours . . . can't wait to go in to buy some for myself.

Enjoy the sunshine and the crisp fall air as you make your way to Art 'n Soul . . .
