On the first two pages, I used stencil templates from Magenta Style, applying the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink in Elderberry (ML-507) and Morocco (ML-201) and with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® InkBlushers™ for the flower blossoms. Because I didn't have a green-colored Memento Luxe™, I used a green ink from IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in Olive Grove.
For the last tile, I used a Magenta poppy stamp inked with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Pigment Ink in Morocco. Before coloring the blank floral petals with Prismacolor colored pencils, I outlined the poppies and stems with the black Micron pen. The Sakura Glaze Pen in black was used to highlight the poppy stamens. Using the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® InkBlushers™, I lightly applied IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® StazOn™ Solvent Ink in Cherry Pink (SZ-81) to the edges and some inside areas of the page.
After all 3 wooden pages were completely dry, I covered each one of them with IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Creative Medium™ in Shimmer using the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® InkBlushers™. Doesn't the shimmer make a nice finish?
The new IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment Ink worked perfectly for the part of the stamp that is a solid image; I didn't do anything to enhance the color at all.
I know that you will enjoy applying Memento Luxe™ to your next mixed media project! The ink is so juicy, rich and luscious that its' application is very smooth and easy. I'm very anxious to try it on glass and canvas, too!
